The ability to interface with external databases is one of the features that makes SKOOR software suite powerful and versatile. Often these datasources are read-only by design, but there are cases where it might be useful to edit data or even change tables.

Sometimes datasources contain catalog-type data that needs to be updated regularly, or there might simply be a wrong datapoint, that needs to be corrected. Editing and creating tables can also be very helpful while prototyping new dashboards.

SKOOR 7.2 brings the ability to edit data from datasources and also add, edit and delete tables withing datasources. These capabilities are of course only available for admins and specifically elevated users. This feature also needs a user on the database that has the right rights.
