There are several types of user authentication available for logging into SKOOR Engine:

• Local authentication using passwords stored in the SKOOR Engine database (encrypted)

• Authentication against an OIDC authentication provider

• Authentication against an LDAP or Active Directory based only on user name and password

• Authentication against an LDAP or Active Directory based on a user’s LDAP group membership

These authentication methods are detailed in the User management section, where account configuration is discussed.
