WIth the 6.0 Release, SKOOR can be configured to use third party identity providers using the Open ID Connect protocol. This allows customers to integrate their existing authentication services from Microsoft, Google or even just Active Directory.

It is easier for the user to login, simpler for the admin to manage and more secure, as security measures such as two factor authentication or password change policies can be enforced.

Of course, the old user-management can still be used and the sophisticated permissions system provided with SKOOR will continue working for old and new users.
